is to keep my column fresh and entertaining, in hopes to get someone out there talking about agriculture.
Meet the
Gate Getter
I was born and raised in a small community deep in the heart of [northeast] Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Communications & Journalism in December 2018. Today, I ranch with my husband, Lane, and our daughter, Clara Anne, in South Central Montana; write my column; and own and operate Walking P Productions, a freelance media company with a focus on visual and traditional storytelling through professional photography, digital design, and freelance writing.
I am completely engulfed in agriculture in my personal life as well as my professional life as an ag communicator, and am actively learning more about the industry as a whole every day through online research and real-world experience, which inspires my bi-weekly column.
